Many things on my my mind as I type. The stories we tell and and the stories we believe... we are all mental constructs of what we want to believe. What I want to believe is that the noble path in life is a constancy of thought and actions that focuses the mind on what is possible , standing against a conflicting narrative that some believe is reality. It is our task as humans to confront that false perception of reality and develop understanding among our fellow human beings that have been hypnotized by televised propaganda and have adopted a false worldview encouraged by forces they dont understand. Lakoff and Johnson have articulated why people have adopted these false narrative- they are comforting and familiar despite their dysfunction.
As people who can see beyond the false narrative, we have a responsibility to connect with those lost admits a sea of false information and alluring but ultimately soul-crushing narrative. How do we connect with those lost in the abyss of fox new and Koch propaganda? a road worth travelling requires many steps and to rush the journey often causes more problems than it solves.What are we to do against a flood of easily digestible propaganda ? that is the discussion
