John Stewart's False Benghazi Narrative Ultimately More Harmful Than Helpful

John Stewart's recent  skit on Fox "news' (sic) outrage on Benghazi, while rightly pointing out Fox's hypocritical false outrage, ultimately does it's viewers a disservice  by promoting the false narrative propagated by  Fox "news" (sic) that Benghazi was a result of a terrorist organization's planned attack and  that the Obama administration cynically pushed false talking points downplaying  this fact. Well, now it looks like this Ben Rhodes, a White House national security and communications aide, did add to these talking points, emphasizing that the protests surrounding the Benghazi violence were not coordinated by terrorists, but were instead somehow related to a provocative anti-Muslim video that had caused demonstrations in other countries Stewart- after a insipid Joke focusing on Snow Dogs, goes on to say I will say this.  From that e-mail, it sounds like the White House had politics and elections on their mind when they sent Susan Rice to the Sunday shows.  It's deplorable. Really John? Deplorable. Well I guess it does SOUND like that, if you believe the Fox news narrative. Fortunately someone who is an actual journalist looked into this and - hey, guess what ... That FOX Narrative about doctored talking points (that you seem so willing to believe)  is BULLSHIT and SHAME ON YOU for buying into it- follow after the fold
